We can install a unit you’ve already purchased, or help you find the right unit for your needs – we can offer you great value pricing on all major air-con brands – and then we can install it for you!

  • My air-con is 10 years old, is it even worth getting it fixed?

    It probably depends on how well maintained your air-con has been over the years, but it may be cheaper to replace it than to repair it. Our team will be able to give you advice and costs either way, and if you do want to replace it, we can offer you great value pricing on all major air-conditioning brands.

  • How often should I clean my air-con filter?

    For domestic use, usually once every season is enough, but otherwise a good indication is whenever the filter light flashes. If  your air-con is being used for commercial purposes, then possibly once a month. 

  • Do you do quotes before you start work?

    Yes absolutely. We provide an obligation-free quote for every job so that you can budget and know exactly what you’re paying for. You’ll also get a free consultation with one of our qualified electricians so you can rest assured you’re getting the best advice before proceeding with the job.

  • What size air-conditioner do I need for my home?

    Unfortunately there isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” answer to this – it very much depends on the unique properties of your home and the placement of the air-con. Essentially, you need to ensure your unit has enough kW to cope with the hottest day of the year. The best way to determine what size unit you need is to have a trained technician inspect your home and the size of the space and make a recommendation from there.

  • Are you licensed?

    Absolutely! Loveday Electrical are fully licensed Electricians and Air Conditioning Installers. Keeping our Licenses and Certifications up to date is key to our business, as safety and quality are top priorities to us and to our customers.

  • Do you offer a warranty?

    All of our labour is backed by a lifetime warranty (and we’ve been around for 30 years, so you know you can rely on us to back that up years from now!), and any materials we supply are backed by the manufacturer’s warranty.
