POPULAR QUESTIONS

  • Can I do my own electrical repairs?

    It is actually illegal to do your own electrical installations and repairs unless you are a fully qualified and licensed electrician. Rather be safe than sorry (it can be dangerous work – you are working with live electricity afterall), always get a qualified electrician to do your repairs.

  • Do you do quotes before you start work?

    Yes absolutely. We provide an obligation-free quote for every job so that you can budget and know exactly what you’re paying for. You’ll also get a free consultation with one of our qualified electricians so you can rest assured you’re getting the best advice before proceeding with the job.

  • My safety switch keeps tripping. What should I do?

    First up, unplug all appliances (fridges, dishwashers, air cons, washing machines, dryers, toasters etc.) and try to reset the breaker. If it resets, plug your appliances back in one at a time to test which one may be causing it to trip. If the breaker still won’t reset – give us a call! We offer an After Hours service for emergencies and a Same-Day Bookings service, so you won’t be stuck without power for long!

  • Are you licensed?

    Absolutely! Loveday Electrical are fully licensed Electricians and Air Conditioning Installers. Keeping our Licenses and Certifications up to date is key to our business, as safety and quality are top priorities to us and to our customers.

  • Do you offer a warranty?

    All of our labour is backed by a lifetime warranty (and we’ve been around for 30 years, so you know you can rely on us to back that up years from now!), and any materials we supply are backed by the manufacturer’s warranty.
